Biography and Experience

Maria Margarida Torres is responsible for a large number of private and corporate investment transactions in her areas of activity, advising national and international clients of various nationalities. She regularly acts on contracts, due diligences, negotiations and licenses, following up with Portuguese public and private entities on the various processes that clients develop in Portugal, as well as civil issues associated with their mobility to Portugal, related to visas, residency and nationality processes.

Maria Margarida Torres work in various areas of administrative law, with particular emphasis on public procurement and urban planning issues, in procedural matters and in administrative litigation. Maria Margarida Torres has assisted clients in transactions involving office buildings, shopping centers, retail parks, logistics parks, hotels and other tourist developments, among others.
Maria Margarida Torres is the author of numerous articles on Immigration, Real Estate and Urban Planning Law, in Portuguese and international publications, including Advocatus, Iberian Lawyer, Eurobiz, Pontos de Vista, among others. She is also frequently invited to be the keynote speaker at many conferences around the world, in China, South Africa, Brazil, London and Russia.
