Your career in law reflects a strong commitment to proximity and the humanisation of legal practice. At what point did you realise you wanted to practise law in a way that is closer to people and their stories?
I have always considered myself a communicative, empathetic person, naturally drawn to human interaction. From an early stage, I knew I wanted those qualities to be present in my professional practice. To me, law has never been solely about technical expertise, but also about relationships. I strive to work with my clients in a close, genuine, and transparent manner, creating an environment of trust where they feel truly supported. I believe that every client brings a unique story and, often, realities very different from my own. It is precisely this diversity of experiences that enriches my professional journey and allows me to grow continuously, both personally and professionally.
As a woman in the legal sector, what challenges have you faced throughout your career, and how have those challenges shaped the professional you are today?
Without a doubt, the greatest challenge I have faced has been balancing motherhood with the demands of legal practice, a profession that requires a high level of availability and responsiveness. In the private clients sector, this demand is even more pronounced, as it involves constant proximity and swift decision-making. Although this is something I genuinely enjoy, because I deeply value client relationships, it nevertheless requires a significant degree of organisation and discipline. These challenges have been instrumental in developing my resilience, management skills, and sense of priority, making me a professional who is more aware of the importance of balancing dedication, high standards, and well-being.
You founded MMT Legal with your own vision of legal practice. How did this project begin, and which values are now part of the firm’s identity?
MMT Legal was founded with the aim of creating a truly personalised legal service, tailored to the specific needs of each client. From the outset, the goal has been to provide close, efficient, and rigorous legal support, grounded in solid values such as ethics, civility, and integrity. More than a traditional model of legal practice, we seek to build long-lasting relationships of trust, based on transparency, attention to detail, and the quality of our legal advice.
In your opinion, what distinguishes a truly inspiring lawyer in today’s legal landscape?
An inspiring lawyer is someone who is able to balance technical excellence with authenticity. Beyond legal knowledge, it is essential to maintain integrity, honesty, and consistency in one’s values. Empathy, patience, and resilience are equally important, as they enable a deeper understanding of each client and allow for legal advice that is more human, thoughtful, and effective.
